Soaring

This beautiful animal is a Bald Eagle, usually at home in the United States.

Until very recently it was endangered but extensive efforts have seen it’s status raised to threatened. Although it’s fight is far from over, things are on the up for this species.

This eagle, was shot at Warwick, castle in England, as part of the medieval falconry display. A wonderful bird, and incredibly hard to photograph. I have a new found respect for wildlife photographers.
