Strobist Windmill

 Chesteron windmill is just a few miles out of Warwick, and in a rather lovely location overlooking the town.

This was my first attempt at a strobist style effect with nothing more than a long exposure and one speedlite.

The effect was reached by setting a long shutter on timer, then running around firing the speedlite both inside and out. As the refresh was rather poor on my 430ex, the effect is rather surreal.

Bizarrely the colours are all natural and the sky is as captured in the camera.
