Monday saw a 5am rise for the drive to Manchester, for a workshop with Brett Harkness.
The workshop was specifically for winter weddings, a daunting prospect for any photographer. When light is such a key to a good photograph, winter seems the worst time to get good shots for a wedding, when the sun has often set before its all over.
As Brett demonstrated, this was far from the case. A long but very enjoyable day with a huge amount learnt. Well worth the money and well recommended.
A few shots are in the gallery, or can be viewed at Flickr or in the gallery here.
