Aikido – Chishin Dojo Coventry

A favour and an experiment. My good friend John run’s a relatively new Aikido Dojo in Coventry.

Approaching their second anniversary, I was invited along to try and shoot some action shots, something I have never done before, especially not with martial arts.

Using 2 strobes, one each side of the room was sufficient but due to the wall colour I could only bounce off the ceiling. It did result in some shadows but I like them they add interest.
