It was the 11th Midlands Strobist Meet, held at Loughborough University. A good site with some good buildings and grounds. Turnout was a little low, probably due to Fathers day. The drop out on models was pretty poor again, even more so than normal. Fortunately those that were there, helped the photographers get some good shots. [...]

How often do you not take a shot because the light isn’t right? Or take the shot anyway and end up with a disappointing photograph? We all do at some point or another. Many photographers will just wait for that magic light, but with the addition of a simple on (or off) camera flash gun, you can create that magical light wherever and whenever.
