November 20th saw another mentoring day with Damian McGillicuddy in Warrington. Sadly, (or rather wonderfully for me) only 2 of us made it so we had Damian all to ourselves. Managing to pick his brains for an entire day.
The day was incredibly inspiring again and I felt re-energised, as well as less daunted by certain aspects of photography.
Our model for the day was the lovely Charlie, who was incredibly professional and I am sure you will agree takes a stunning photograph.
It has really made me appreciate the virtues of a professional model, I also realised how key it is for me to direct. A model who listens well is a real benefit to ensuring the intention is realised.
The day started with looking at each others work, and it was certain that the standard had progressed.
The studio portion concentrated on lighting ratios, and I now feel the need to start using my meter properly! It really was a revelation, again!
