Mayan inspired body art/painting

This was an interesting shoot in that it was shot in a tiny meeting room in a Redditch hotel, to create and capture some Mayan Inspired body art/painting. Despite the limits on space, the possibilities are still endless. I teamed up with Makeup artist Liz Sifford and Simon Hall Jr. musician from Birmingham. The makeup was a mix of Mayan and tribal influences and Simon’s look and toned physique leant itself perfectly to the theme. Simon’s acting talent also ensured there was more to the character portrayed, something in the eyes that hints at a deeper story.

Despite only having a regular white wall to work with, I had greater visions in mind as we shot the images. Some fun images and certainly not an everyday portrait.
