Classic Boudoir Photoshoot

Dawn’s first anniversary was approaching and as you may know it’s traditional to give gifts along a theme of different materials, in the case of the first year a gift relating to paper . What better way than some beautiful prints for her husband? We shot over a hundred images and Dawn had them made into a beautiful photobook, she has kindly agreed to share some of the images with you all.

What a pleasure this shoot was. Dawn had some fantastic ideas and had even made her own mood board which made my job far easier. I also had my friend Neil Hughes there to offering his styling expertise. Although Dawn was nervous we were in no rush and took our time capturing some wonderful images. Before we even realised hours had passed and it was time to go home.

The venue we used is the fabulous hidden gem called The York. I don’t know quite how to describe this boutique hotel’s style, but it has a wonderful atmosphere and unique feel. I hope to arrange some photography days there in the future. Let me know if you are interested.
