Quick update from Warwickshire Photographer

Well things have been very busy here and I haven’t had a lot of time for my personal projects. As always it’s often my priority to get images finished before I look at the work I do just for me.

The last shoot I posted about with Roxana in Birmingham still has a long list of great images I would love to share. I spent some time trying to ensure that the image had both depth and narrative, something I increasingly feel is needed to make something stand out amongst the crowd.

This image, shot of Roxy relaxing on the sofa required careful lighting and position of the camera to ensure the focus was where it was needed. Ideally I would have liked to have moved the piano but as it stands I think it serves as a good frame for the beautiful profile of Roxy’s face. Some editing was also required to darken out the distraction around the edges of the frames to ensure the focus is exactly where it should be.

High Heels, High Hopes

More to come soon I promise, it’s just finding time to edit them all!
