How often do you not take a shot because the light isn’t right? Or take the shot anyway and end up with a disappointing photograph? We all do at some point or another. Many photographers will just wait for that magic light, but with the addition of a simple on (or off) camera flash gun, you can create that magical light wherever and whenever.
Sunday saw the Midlands Strobist group attend a workshop at Cosfird Air museum for some off camera flash action. It was well attended with almost 40 photographers, although only 12 models turned up. Update 26/09/2010. They have performed perfectly and reliably throughout their entire time (almost 2 years). However almost overnight the trigger has became unreliable, and won’t trigger when on the hotshoe. Strangely I had noticed this with Damian’s triggers before and putting it on backwards on the hotshoe seemed to resolve it. Mine however now will [...]
